Geo Tracks supports new Devizes to Westminster Klepper record holders.

Two ex Royal Marines, Tom Rendal and Joe Maynard timed their start perfectly at 11:20 on the morning of the 8th April 2023. 125 miles, 77 portages and no crying later, they smashed the existing record of 22 hours 39 minutes and completed the course in 21:53:50. An outstanding effort by Royal!

Tom and Joe paddled a Klepper kayak. These are designed to be folded and carried over land and are favoured by military forces. They are a tough choice of boat to paddle 125 miles from Devizes to Westminster in.
